On March 28th, COMAC held the 2023 Supplier Conference in Shanghai. Representatives and partners from 238 suppliers from three continents and nine countries reviewed the progress of the project tasks with COMAC through on-site or video participation, discussed follow-up work plans, sorted out and resolved key and difficult issues, coordinated, and promoted various work on model tasks.

Zhou Xinmin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of COMAC, Zhang Yujin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of COMAC, and Wu Guanghui, Academician of the CAE Member and Chief Scientist of COMAC attended the conference.
He Dongfeng said that as a young main manufacturer, COMAC always adheres to the concept of a life community with suppliers, pursuing dreams, growing and sharing together. Currently, changes in the world, times, and history are unfolding in unprecedented ways. The life community of the civil aircraft industry composed of COMAC and various suppliers has entered a new stage of development, ushering in new opportunities and facing new challenges. Based on the unprecedented changes in a century, He Dongfeng emphasized that COMAC has always adhered to the principles of openness, cooperation, and compliance, with a "two big picture" in mind, and a "big one in the country" in mind. He hopes that the vast number of suppliers and COMAC will closely seize the historical opportunity of the development of China's civil aircraft industry, and strive to promote communication, enhance understanding, and reach consensus through communication. Together, we will make greater contributions to promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind and achieving the sustainable development of the life community of the civil aircraft industry.
Zhang Yujin expressed gratitude to domestic and foreign suppliers and partners for their care and assistance to the company. He said that China's large aircraft industry is not only China's, but also the world's. Since the establishment of the company, COMAC has always unswervingly adhered to the new development concept, adhered to the responsibility of building a "main manufacturer supplier" life community, and adhered to global cooperation. In order to achieve the annual work goals and key tasks for 2023, it is hoped that all suppliers and COMAC will work together to establish a foothold in the present and a long-term perspective, form consensus in thought, pool joint efforts in action, strengthen cooperation and close cooperation, overcome difficulties and obstacles on the way forward, turn challenges into opportunities, and achieve a win-win future.
At the meeting, I watched a documentary on the progress of COMAC's 2022 project, reported on the market development situation of COMAC, the progress and follow-up plans of C919 and ARJ21 projects, batch production and operation support, and supplier performance. I also proposed relevant requirements for suppliers in terms of quality airworthiness, procurement, and supply chain management. The conference recognized the C919 Large Passenger Aircraft TC Certification Advanced Collective Award, the 2022 COMAC Excellent Supplier and the Large Aircraft Enterprise Individual Outstanding Contribution Award.
More than 900 representatives of domestic and foreign suppliers and partners attended the meeting in the main venue and video sub venue. The professional chief engineer of COMAC, and relevant responsible persons of all departments and units attended the meeting.
