On the morning of April 18, 2023, Mr. Lou Yanchun, Vice Chairman of the World Foundry Organization and Chairman of the Foundry Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society, and Mr. Qing Wei, Vice Mayor of Deyang City, officially signed a contract in Deyang City, Sichuan Province. Both parties have determined that the 75th World Foundry Conference will be held from October 25 to 30, 2024 at the Deyang Wende International Convention and Exhibition Center in Deyang City, Sichuan Province. Liu Guangqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Deyang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Wang Yongchuan, Secretary General of the Deyang Municipal Government, Xie Huasheng, Vice Chairman of the Foundry Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society, and Liu Hongchao, Secretary General, attended the signing ceremony.
The 75th World Foundry Conference is hosted by the World Foundry Organization and hosted by the Foundry Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society, the official representative of the World Foundry Organization in China. This is the third time that the Foundry Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering has hosted the World Foundry Conference, following the successful hosting of the 61st (Beijing, 1995) and 69th (Hangzhou, 2010) World Foundry Conferences. This meeting has received high attention and strong support from the People's Government of Deyang City, and will take this opportunity to deepen all-round cooperation based on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, talent cultivation and exchange, and local casting industry planning and development.
